dating to the Qing dynasty (Manchu), 1900-1910‘s
Silk, cotton, wood and leather
Exquisitely handmade with beautiful embroidery to the silk uppers
Very comfortable to wear, the slippers correspond approx. to a European size 41/42
The soles are 28cm/11.02in. in length and 9cm/3.5in. at their widest point
Likely received as a gift and then stored away unworn
The silk fabric and embroidery of the shoe uppers and the leather soles are in excellent condition
Flaws to the layer between the leather sole and the cotton foot bed, it seems an antique termite has shown these exquisite shoes some love:)
They have since been in cold storage and are ready to wear
