French Military wool chino trousers
Ink stamped ARMEE, size 23 and 1953 on interior waistband and left frontal pocket lining
Single pleated front, 6 button front placket. Can be worn either belted or with suspenders. Two side pockets, two buttoned back flap pockets. Seat and crotch of trousers has an additional wool layer for reinforcement which reaches from the hip to the knee area. Trouser cuffs can be adjusted internally (two buttons) to wear over boots.

Equally utilitarian and elegant in cut

Length inseam: 76cm/29.9in.
Hip: 124cm/48.8in.
Front rise: 31cm/12.2in.
Back rise: 48cm/18.9in.
Excellent vintage condition. Little to no wear
Small repair to left front pocket lining (see pictures), otherwise no discernible flaws
Hand washed and reconditioned with Eucalan
